How can I join SOHSA?

Please contact the Secretary or come to our next meeting.

When does the membership year run from?

The membership year is from January to December. Subscriptions are due around February, the secretary will write to you when it is due.

How much does it cost to join?

Individual membership is £15

Corporate membership is £22

If joining after the June meeting the fee will be £10 for individual member and £20 for the corporate membership for the rest of the year.

What does corporate membership mean?

Corporate membership means the company is a member and therefore can send whichever employees they like to the meetings.

What are arrangements for visitors/guests?

Visitor/ guests are always welcome and any member can bring as many guests as they like. All we ask is that if a person comes to the meetings more than 3 times, they need to become a member, unless they are employed by a company with the corporate membership.

What time do meetings start?

Meetings start at 2pm, generally teas and coffees are available from 1.30pm so come a little earlier and do some networking!

How long does a meeting last?

We like to have a presentation of about 45 - 60 minutes with questions at the end. Generally most meetings are finished by 3.30pm. Site visits may run for longer.
